Do the built-in speakers in the latest versions of iPhone, iPad, and Mac support spatial and lossless audio? In other words, I don’t need headphones to take advantage of these features?
Also, if I enable High-Resolution Lossless, a messages appears saying that external hardware is suggested (to play content in Hi-Res Lossless at full resolution, I will need an external digital-to-analog converter). Because this is “suggested”, does that mean there is still some advantage to streaming Hi-Res Lossless without a converter?
