I have been trying to spread the iPhone gospel as much as possible, and the new 200 dollar price drop has made it easier, to be sure. I have a friend on the brink of parting with his hard earned monies and spring for one. He VOWS that the day he can play Oregon Trail on his iPhone WITHOUT an internet connect (so not through safari), i.e. in a native app, he will go out and buy an iphone. I would really love to put him to the test.

Can anyone help? I looked for an NES port, but there doesnt seem to be one. I guess someone would have to develop an Apple II emulator (oh that should be easy, right? :D ) or a straight up 3rd party Oregon Trail app.

Its not just for me, or my friend. Its for the good of mankind.

Yes, but there is no Oregon Trail NES ROM, at least that I could find....among my collection of cartridges from which I could legally make ROMs.
