Hello!

I've seen some of you posted screenshots with speed limit indicator.

Do you think it's region-related?

I have beta 1 on iPhone 6 Plus and driving around Poland I haven't noticed any speed limit indicator.

I mean, Apple uses TomTom maps mainly in my region so I thought it will be available here as well since TomTom has knowledge about speed limits here.

When using CarPlay here in the UK today I now have the speed limits shown.

Overall, CarPlay in this beta isn't great. Crashed several times, and the panel showing on screen guidance has gone, just a black bar towards the top of the screen. Also, after invoking Siri it doesn't return to the radio without disconnecting phone and reconnecting.

This is a bit off-topic, but I thought they added the ability to see which lane you have to be in on freeways/highways? I didn't notice speed limits or lanes when I used it two days ago. I'll test it out again later today.

There is a setting for displaying the speed limit under Settings -> Maps -> Driving & Navigation

It may say 65 but its the Perimeter!
Yes it actually 80mph or 5mph and NOTHING in-between. :D

Here are some of the new signs in action. Not sure how Apple Maps will handle these.o_Oo_Oo_O

For me they turned on in DB2, but there are areas where it's not working yet.

I think it's a gradual roll out, but not sure about international coverage.

Where do you live?

Still no speed limits in DB2 in Poland.

Minneapolis, MN, US. But they were missing in DB1 for me. Being in Poland, I would expect a delay. Remember, it's a beta.

I know it's beta. But the thing is, it doesn't matter.

In Poland, there is no:
- Siri,
- Apple Pay,
- Transit Direction for any city,
- Flyover for any city,
- in-navigation buttons to find near restaurants or gas stations
- QuickType keyboard
- TV Shows in iTunes Store
- special discounts on different occasions or movie promos
- real Apple Stores (just resellers)

even after betas of those features.

So if there won't be speed limits in DB3 it will definitely mean no speed limits and lane assistance in stable release in Poland ;)

@IGI2, if you're missing all those features, i wouldn't expect speed limits anytime soon. Sorry to say.

For some things the iPhone is ahead, and others drastically behind.

I'm sorry, I hear your pain.

This will gradually roll out after iOS 11 in the coming years. Don't hope for it before 2020 if it's outside US&UK.
Yes, speed Limit is supported in iOS 11 and will be backend implemented. So a new beta or version will not be an indication or any relation to when you get it. It will be when Apple 'turns on the speed limit server' in Poland and will just show up. I'll be a little more optimistic for you than twinlight and say hope by 2019.:D

But I'm not worried, I've been driving on M25 in London and the speed limits were off about 15 mph - that's a lot!
[doublepost=1500719526][/doublepost]But I have to admit, London looks good in Apple Maps:

You mean, I also don't have lane assistant.

Together with the above:
In Poland, there is no:
- Siri,
