What idiot at Apple thought that square edged iPhones, particularly the heavy Max model, would be a good idea?

I find the square edged phones to be both uncomfortable and ugly. This is progress? (When the iPhone 6 was announced, Apple itself touted the curved edge design as "comfortable to hold").

WTH?

It's seasonal, like squared/curved shoes and thin/thick neckties.

For example, iPhone 16 is going back to a vertical camera layout. Round edges will come back sooner or later, probably on the folding model.
