I tried out Apple Fitness on my AppleTV by just keeping it on, and not actually exercising, and the first thing I noticed was that the time, and heart rate are not matching.

My TV showed 5:32 while my watch 5:30 the TV showed 79 for the heart, while the watch 82BPM. Just curious if this is a synch issue or the way it is? Is it a reliable way of tracking data?

Thanks.

Since my two Apple Watches sync properly with my iPhone (though a bit of a delay when switching the Watches), I would assume it is a syncing issue. I would guess since the Fitness app (on the Apple TV) is intended for use when you are near the TV, it is not intended to sync otherwise. I know that if I go out for a walk and leave my iPhone at home, it does not successfully sync until the Watch and iPhone are either within BlueTooth range or connected via Wifi. I would guess the TV is the same.
