Hi there

I'm not very familiar with Steam and I'm planning to get an account there soon. But I wanted to ask:

- Is it possible to download PC Windows games via macOS and install them later on Windows (via Bootcamp)?

Because I don't want to spend hours & hours in Windows while the game is downloading. I only use Bootcamp/ Windows for gaming only.

Possible? Or is Steam utilizing some special installer where you have to keep the download running on Windows?

You can install Steam Windows version on Mac with Wine. Easiest setup I can think of is with PortingKit http://portingkit.com/en/

Once you installed/ downloaded game trough Wine on Mac you will need to copy game and app manifest to SteamAps/common on bootcamp disk which can be faster than downloading it again on Windows.

The best way would be to try the procces with some smaller size games.
