Wonder if anyone can help me.
Trying to do a bit of house keeping with files on my iMac and tidying up the documents folder. I've known for quite some time that a lot of games (most of mine are Steam driven) seem to have folders in the documents folder i.e. - Documents>My Games>Skyrim or Documents>WB Games> Batman Arkham City, and then with some sub-folders in there. My assumption has always been that they are for save game files but they seem mostly empty, although not all, and I also thought that on OSX the steam files and games saves were separate packages.
Besides trying to keep these things tidied up with the introduction of macOS and iCloud syncing for the documents folder, could someone explain this to me a little and suggest either where and how to safely move the folders somewhere else or whether to just delete them all together as they are necessary.

Ancient Space
Civ 5
Mass Effect
DC universe online
GALCIV 2 & 3
Skyrim
Transformers
Crusader Kings
Europa Universalis
Stellaris
Simcity
Civ 5
Arkham City
