I am producing a documentary and will have still images in the project. My questions: The film is being shot in 4k(3840x2160) so do I resize my still images as close as possible to the 4k pixel size, and do I make sure that the resolution is high (250-300) The film will be shown in theaters. btw I am using ON1 Resize

Thanks in advance for your feedback

Theatres are typically 4096x1716 or 3996x2160 depending on the aspect ratio. Are you sure 3840x2160 is the correct 'target' for this project?

I am not sure. I am still learning about taking video. All youtube tutorials by the "established filmmakers" recommend taking video at 4k. can you suggest an online resource that covers this subject?

Moist likely these pictures will not be filling the screen. But clarity is key.
