iPhone Stop Mail deleting emails when I swipe?!

I swipe left slightly to tag emails with a flag. But slightly too far and the email's flung somewhere far away and I can only find it in 'all mail'.

What kind of profound disorder must someone have to conclude this is 'good user experience'?

You can change that under Mail swipe settings.
