I noticed that if I have my iPhone lighting earbuds plugged into the iPhone X and 7 Plus, then start the call, while I can hear the person I am calling, they can not hear me (ie. the mic doesnt work).

However, if I plug in the lighting earbuds after the call is initiated on either phone, the mic works perfectly.

Anyone else experience this or is something else going on?

p.s. This is with two separate pairs of apple lighting earbuds, not a single set.

Wow it really is strange. I'd suggest to take it to a tech and have it physically inspected. This type of issue is too odd to just diagnose over the PC.

I would but this is happening on multiple devices and headphones. It is doubtful this isnt a software bug... it is iOS 11 afterall.
