I have a 2TB WD HD attached to my Airport Extreme Base Station - I'm hoping somebody will develop an iPad app to stream/access media over local wifi networks.
If anybody knows how do do this with an iPod Touch, please let me know.

Air Video is incredible!!!

Now I will be able to watch anything in my Video library on the iPad, anywhere I am (with internet or 3G access). No need to sync. Less worries about storage space on the iPad.

Thanks!

ETA - I can't believe how hard it was to hack into my Apple TV to be able to do this. Seems funny that Apple would allow an App that will let you stream any video on the iPad, but not allow the same for Apple TV. Everything has to be in MPEG-4 and in iTunes to stream to Apple TV.
