Streaming from safari to Apple TV not working

hi there,

Recently I am struggling to stream any video to my Apple TV 5 from safari on my iPhone 7 (ios12).

For example using either YouTube or Vimeo when i hit the Apple TV button in the airplay menu, the tv flashes briefly and goes back to showing whatever it was showing before. Then on the iPhone airplay pops back to iPhone and pauses.


Any clues?

I had the same issue after IOS 12 update.
Simply unplug the ATV then plug back in and it will resolve your issue.
