I just bought a 2007 macbook pro with it at the el capitan installer (boots into utilities menu) and when I hit install it brings up this popup that says “Sign in to download from the App Store” so I tried 3 apple id’s, none work, no error message or nothing, this is is my first time ever using a Mac/mac os also. Does anyone know how to get around this?

delete app store cache files and reboot:

rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.appstore/Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.*pp*tore

I went to terminal from utilities. Am I supposed to hold one of those commands before booting?

I think I'm stuck with paper weight. I have tried countless hours to get this thing to boot into mac os, I have tried using bootable usbs but I always get that circle with the cross after the apple logo.
