Hi all,

I have an iPod 2g with firmware 3.2.1. I was trying to upgrade to version 4.1 which I downloaded at a link I will include below. Halfway through the update it crashed. I have attached the error report. When I turn it on, I get the “connect to iTunes” prompt.

Now my iPod is stuck in recovery mode. It wants me to restore. I REALLY REALLY REALLY do not want to have to do that. I don’t think I’ve synced my iPod in a while, and thus have no recent backups to restore to. With 9 full pages of apps, it would be a great aid to me not to have to restore completely, so if anyone knows a way around this recovery block, please help!
