student discount iBook - PANTHER?

It says that the iBook you buy with student discount comes with Panther, not Tiger ...

is it a glitch or is it true? If it's true, I'd rather just buy it normally. :\

I'm guessing a glitch. Buy a new Mac, get a new OS.

They might not of updated that yet on the website. You should get a new OS if your getting a new computer. If it's true you could probably work something out. But i know people that have used their student discounts recently and their machines came with Tiger.
