Hey,

my girlfriend still has an old 2017 mbp and I wanted to share my studio display with her sometimes, which is hooked up to an OWC thunderbolt 4 dock. It works flawlessly on my 2021 macbook pro, but on hers, I noticed that the native resolution seems to be only 4k. Why is that? If I set it to a scaled resolution to have a useful ui size, everything looks a bit blurry and washed out. Is that because of thunderbolt 3 somehow? I mean if the display was hooked up directly to the machine it should probably work, right? It must be because of the dock somehow..
