Sub-forum Idea

Here is an idea I proposed to another forum that I regularly visit.

I thought you guys/girls might be interested in it as well.

Its a kind of buyers recommendation thing...take a look.

My Idea

Some of you folks more knowledgable with php and vbulletin may be able to say wether or not such is possible, but I imagine with plugins, it would be.

Well there's already a buyer's recommendations/advice forum. The only thing not there is the rating system you describe...

Not sure if the demand is there for that, or if it's worth the time to replicate something as robust as http://www.epinions.com/

i think it would be a nice feature, however, due to the overwhelming availablility of similar services/info, i would say that it may best be kept from cluttering the "product reccomendations/ buyers' advice" threads.

i think its great, but not for here.
