So far my install on my 2011 iMac seems to have went OK.
I split my 1TB drive in two and left EL Capitan in one partition.
I installed High Sierra in the other.
Then I migrated using the Migration Tool. This picked up my El Capitan installation on the other partition and migrated everything OK. Only fault was an old printing app that didn't get migrated.
I still have iTunes 12.6.2.20 and as far as I can see everything works.
I also updated my 2015 MacBook Air with no problems.
Does anyone know how to hide the 12.7 iTunes update in the App store ?
