sudden power off

i was just doing some web surfing on my 2011 macbook pro and it suddenly powered off then after about a minute of holding the power button down it turned on and now it wont charge any ideas i did open it up to clean it and change out the thermal paste but i didnt do any force to do it after it i checked all the connections and it was fine i might check the mag safe board and the charger after a response
