Suggestions needed: Best iPad 9.7 keyboard case. Criteria:
  1. Apple MacBook like hard clicky tactile keys (not soft keys like the Apple iPad Keyboard)
  2. Moderate protection for iPad for small drops etc
  3. More than one viewing angle/orientation if possible
  4. easy to hold while folded up or with keyboard folded away
Brands like Logitech and Belkin I know fairly well, but beyond those there is a huge amount of names I've not heard of and so any advice would be Christmas.

Zagg makes a great SlimBook case that I think would be compatible. I have it on my iPad Air 2, and had it on an iPad Air before that. The keys are fairly good, and the portion of the case that holds the iPad itself can detach from the keyboard, so you get a ton of different viewing angles (on a fairly sturdy hinge) and can also set the keyboard itself aside if you're just reading or something.

You may also want to consider a separate BT keyboard. Then you can use the iPad with any case you choose and the keyboard can come with you or stay behind.
