I am using playgrounds to learn. I make my code with the touch and when I run it, the character and map on the right vanish and all I see is a blue screen. I tried restarting my ipad air 3 and checked for an update but it didnt work. Has anyone else run into this bug?

It will not let me complete any of the puzzles anymore. I installed it yesterday and it worked fine but now it does not. I do not have a mac yet so this is all I have to learn swift from.

Do the old levels you’ve already completed exhibit the same behavior?
Try pinching and rotating the view. It may be glitched but still running.
Try changing the playback speed.
Try reinstalling the app.
Try downloading the Learn To Code chapter books again.

If all fail, try uploading the Playground file to the forum, and I’ll see if I can get it to work on my iPad Pro and tell how if I can.

I finally managed to get an error to come up in the app by running the code after the right side goes blue.

“Unable to send commands, missing ’liveViewMessageHandler’”.

The solution I found online is to disable sound which indeed work and I could finish the challenge, however I need to try a few more levels to be sure. Will report back in an hour or so of my findings

edit - looks like the issue is gone. Just went at it for a section with no problems

Interesting. Well, good that it's gone, and as my professor at uni always says "Happy coding!". Don't hesitate to ask if any other issues crop up, oh and I'd recommend sending Apple feedback on the bug.
