The gesture also works in Finder you're using three finger swipe instead of the default two.

Or:

Cmd + [
Cmd + ]

Where is the ] buttons ?

I have the small keyboard, and as i said Magic mouse.

three-finger swipe did not work in folders, are you sure this isnt only for the trackpad?

Might as well revive this decade old thread, as it is pretty much to my point.

After some searching, it seems there is no way to achieve this; navigating a Finder window in list view, back and forth, with one-finger-swipe on magic mouse, like you can in any browser or app with pages like a pdf.

Better Touch Tool might do it, if they fixed it, but I can't buy and install that just for this one function.

I think this should be a simple option in Finder or Mouse settings.
