Hi there, just got my iPhone 3G a few days ago and am loving it so far. While I was purchasing, the specialist at the Apple Store asked me if I wanted to look at cases and I said now because I knew that I wanted to get something from SwitchEasy. I've heard great things about there service and cases. But I'm torn between the Rebel and the Neo. On one hand I like the Rebel's ease of instalation and the look it has, but as I would most likely get it in black, I don't want to have to deal with sagging issues. On the other hand, the Neo looks great too and has no sagging issues, but I've seen issues posted about the I-Frame breaking or chipping on the corners. Carlos (itsmemorphious) on YouTube even broke his on camera during his review of the case. So what do you guys think? Can any of you out there with Rebels or Neos confirm either the sagging or the breaking issues?

I would get the neo, since it is more likely they will replace it if the frame snaps. I personally have the rebel, but I bought it not knowing about the sagging issue and now I'm stuck with it. I would say the only reason that you may want to go with a rebel was if you wanted an eye catching case, but since you said you wanted it in black anyway, go for the neo. Hope that helps!

P.S. if you want to see my video review of it, you can check my youtube account of the same name.

I had the Rebel and now the Rebel Serpent. Both did not have the sag issue that many people are talking about but maybe I was just lucky. I can say that I dropped the phone while getting out of a small SUV and the Rebel protected the phone very well. Get 'em both and you can change it around every so often.

Rebel

I'm gonna go ahead and order the Rebel. I've heard good things about it lately, and think they have fixed their formula for the black case that should have eliminated sagging. I didn't want to risk breaking the Neo and the Rebel is easier to put on.

I have both and find the Rebel to be a bit of a sloppy mess of a case once you take it off a few times. I would have gone with the Neo.

Maybe they have improved things a lot but I doubt it.

I've had 2 Neo's replaced due to the "Wiggles" and 2 Neo's replaced due to the I-Frame Chipping and guess what, both the new cases are chipping, mine at 3 of 4 corners and my wife's 2 of 4 corners.

In my experience the Neo is garbage. Switcheasy has been good about replacement but I don't want a replacement every month or 2, I want a case that's quality.

I haven't figured out what I'm going to replace it with as nothing else really appeals to me. I'll probably just get a slider.

Well I'm now running naked, the bottom part of the I-frame that covers the power port completely broke off.
