iPhone XS Max syncing apps with new MAX iphone?

I had iphones years ago and used to manage my apps from within itunes. Now I just got a new iphone MAX and try to manage my apps in itunes but do not see apps. I see music and movies but no apps. Can someone tell me where I can mange my apps from? thanks.

iTunes removed that functionality in 12.7. Apple does provide an older version of iTunes that still manages apps: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208079

Otherwise, all apps are re-downloaded when restoring.

If you want to be able to save apps, iMazing will save apps from your phone.

I didn’t notice they had removed that either. I thought I was going crazy trying to find it.
