HomeKit Syncing Hue lights and rooms with homekit

I came back from vacation. now i see 22 of my 50+ lights moved to a mysterious "default room" on homekit. I didn't make any such changes. On hue app lights are on correct rooms. and i see no sync possibility from hue app to homekit.

any ideas how this can be fixed? i fear if i move the lights in homekit, they'll reset sometime later again.

On the setting tab of the HUE app, in the Smart Integrations option, do you have anything listed when you select the "smart Home" option? For me, I have "Siri & Apple Home" listed for me.

If you already have that too, and your home app still has put thing in the "default room", then you will just need to move the items manually in the home app to whatever room they belong to.
