I'm looking to give eBook reading another go after finding my old First-Gen iPad in storage. After finishing a book I constantly am referring back to my highlighted sections and annotations for ideas, business, etc.
Seeing that the First-Gen iPad doesn't sync with iBooks over the cloud, is there a way to back up these annotations so they can be accessed on iBooks on my iPhone and Mac?
I've got the iPhone 7 and a 2013 rMBP, so the current software on those two. I've heard that you can use services from Google and Amazon, however I'd love to keep everything with Apple's iBooks.
