If I were ballsy I'd buy using a Discover credit card, then use price protection with that $39.99 price. It'd be ~$120 back in the refund. I don't see pricing errors listed as one of their policy exclusions and the price is still advertised on the site

FYI Three target managers did everything they could, calling corporate to deny me the price match. They told me the item was for an Apple Smart Cable made by Apple. First they said it was especially designed for the iPhone then aid it was made for the Laptop. Ugh. When I asked if they could show me the Apple Smart Cable they said security would escort me out of I didn't stop pressing the issue. I never even raised my voice. Thirty people behind me were calling ******** on them. Had to speak with corporate myself, got an apology from the three idiots and will be getting a free one when it is back I stock as the last one magically disappeared.

Thanks for the heads up on this. When I first saw this post last night, I went on the Target app and ordered one from a target in the bronx, NY, which was the only store that had them in stock "as per the app". I was able to pay the price of $39.99. Just waiting on confirmation from the store so I can drive an hour to pick up. Just want to make sure everything is on the up and up before I get in my car for the journey . So far all looks good as my credit card was already billed for about $43 total with tax.

Yeah, I figured that was a mistake. LOL.... :) They've fixed the price.

You might very well be the only person who got there in time to get it for the incredible price.

Ended up getting 5 of these, customer service manager called a manager from the back they denied it. Store manager on the other hand approved it. Think I might sell them for like $99 bucks or something

Just got back from a three hour journey to get my $39.99 smart keyboard with no questions asked. Should have ordered more, but I was surprised that I was able to order the one.

Thank you for alerting us to this deal.

I am glad you guys were able to get in on the deal. I cannot tell you how terrible the Westbury store was.

Westbury only showed limited supply, so that is why I went to the Bronx. Could have went to Brooklyn also.

I live on Long Island as well, so either choice was a trip for me.

Nice job for the ones who got this offer although you most likely had a guaranteed trip since there were no ipad pro smart keyboards available in any target store in my large metropolitan area. I find it shocking that the OP who originally posted couldn't get the deal...must suck but you helped at least two guys out congrats

And some people here wonder why Apple devotees are viewed with a jaundiced eye...

Five, really?

Surely you're not desperate to make money the questionable way
