iOS TCP Socket / Networking on the iPhone

Does anyone on this list have experience or some examples of doing a TCP Socket connection on the iPhone SDK? I'm still new to Xcode and Objective C and need some help getting start in getting a socket connection working on the iPhone.

My networking needs in my app are pretty simple, I just am having trouble getting started.
