Tech help Keychain

I am having problem with my keychain. I'm being asked to enter it all the time. I have found a solution I believe but it asks me to access my login keychain, and I don't have one. There are only three 1. Local items 2 System 3. System roots

OS 10.9.5. Yes its old. Not my laptop.

There are few steps:
1. press "alt" when you access "go" from finder in order to access Library which normally is invisible
2. Locate Keycahins in Library and move it out from there (on desktop for instance)
3. Log out or reboot, you should get a message and create a new keychain
4. That might be all, you may need to put again all the passwords you had stored in the keychain
