Telekinesis and an External HDD

Ive been fooling around with the Telekinesis app on my iPod Touch.
The only issue I have is that my entire music collection is located on my external HDD.

The only hint about this I found stated that for Telekinesis to see my external is to navigate to the root of my Mac.

Can anybody elaborate on this?

ok the way to do it is to go to the "files" button from the homepage then press the first "root" on the blue bar at the top such that mine is "iMac" then you can choose the drive good luck ask anymore questions if you want
