Terrible Time Removing Link Band?

Has anyone had some issues removing the link band/bracelet? It definitely feel a bit stiffer to remove than the sport bands. I'm not going to lie, the thought of the watch being scratched from the bracelet magnets as its slides off is a bit worrisome. This is the stainless steel model.

Anyone else have issues removing a strap? Not just the link band specifically.

Have you tried releasing a link; as in, so there is a seperation as well as the clasp? Some people have said this helps in the other threads.

Compared to the Sportband, it is a little tougher to remove the link band. Even removing my fiancee's modern buckle is easier. Might be how tight sizing is made with the link and the watch itself?
