Text-based emojis?

Will there be text-based emojis for the Apple Watch? Just to respond to text messages that pop up on your Watch?

Texts should be limited to abbreviated emojis, for examples:

OK (text) become "OK" in an emoji.

Yes (text) become "YES" and No (text) become "NO" in emojis.

Thanks (text) become "THNKS" or "THNX" in an emoji.

And so on.
