That's just a video....however with all the apps for PalmOS and Windows Mobile, what Apple said about a program on the iPhone bringing the network down really is a load of ****. Especially since they have OS X on there, surely they could "protect the network" from those dangerous applications.

Sure native apps may clutter the thing...but they don't want native apps on it because AT&T and Apple don't want VOIP apps on there. Apple gets a cut of the service charge and you bet your ass they'll enforce it.

Cool video. It is good that the NYT helps make more people aware. His little 'stage laugh' (the one he uses right after the Jobs / Cingular West Coast network blurb) is very annoying though, needs work.

Meh....that's his style....his video podcasts are generally loony and pretty fun to watch. At least this is one guy in the media that's more of a geek like us and gets things right more times than wrong.

I agree. The laugh thing just struck me as funny / annoying - not any more than that. In fact, watched another one of his straight afterwards on him and his family trying out some claymation stuff. He's good value ...
