Blimey. It's always sad to hear of something like that ending, but especially when it's a real end of an era type thing. I wonder if Adrian Shaughnessy is right though:

Also, am I alone in thinking we haven't heard the last of Emigre as a journal of visual culture? I have a feeling that VanderLans' editorial/curatorial instincts run too deep to let Emigre vanish forever.

Maybe it's just changing with the times and will come back as something...other.




Hoever, thanks iGav for posting this, I'm supposed to be finishing off my dissertation in the next couple of days, and it's about zines moving to the internet, so having breaking news in it may earn my some much needed marks. :)
