The Guardian Reproting iPod 12 pb

1st time I've ever found an ios pb release being reported by The Guardian (u.k.)
Since removed and re installed Beta profile.
Why am only finding this via newspaper.
Unless I missed it via macrumours

Thought I would re check battery since ios12 pb1 update.
Left home 42%
Since returned home approx 2 hrs later.
Only 2% power left.
Think I'll re charge to 100% and re check this evening.
I'm not one to monitor battery life though this is noticeable

I'm getting upwards of 40 hrs on a charge with my 8+ 256gb on DB2. I did a install as new with db1 and just the update with db2.

This morning took the phone of the charger at approx 5hrs ago and I still showing 97% battery.
