Since Im no developer...what are the chances of ripping the iPad OS to be able to run on, say, a Mac Mini?

Id imagine its somehow tied to the chipset and could take ALOT of work to do...but how possible is it?

We all know Jailbreaking the thing is coming...but what about the opposite and trying to get something OFF the iPad onto something else.

I want the iPad OS and the apps to run on my mini which is currently attached to a 7" touchscreen in my car. :D

All you would need is the iPhone SDK, and iPad Simulator, which runs the apps full blown. Though I don't think your 7 inch touchscreen would have high enough resolution.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16)

Not likely unless Apple leaks the code.
