Third Party Leather Cases Backordered

I’ve always gone with an Apple Leather Case over the last several years and never got into third party ones. Like many, with Apple discontinuing leather products, I ordered a coupe third party leather cases to try.

I’m curious if it’s typical for them to all be so backordered or is it unique with the iPhone 15 series this year?

They probably did not know how bad the finewoven cases were going to be and how many people were going to be looking for a leather alternative. So yeah increased demand would be a factor. You also have companies like Andar that did a cutout for the action button and once the phones were released realized it was extremely difficult to use with a cutout instead of a button so they are back ordered until the new design is released.
