I’m not sure if this requires a new thread but I’m pretty excited so delete if needed.

Like every iPhone I’ve owned in the past, I’ve been blown away by the device, regarding both hardware and software. I was just sitting on my couch reading the news and noticed this little guy:

I’ve only seen it a handful of times and it was always far from home. Gotta say I’m thrilled about my data speeds even though the difference is more than likely unnoticeable during my day to day usage. Carrier is a Verizon MVNO.

Yes I love this 14 Pro Max. For the first time in 10 years, I haven’t jailbroken my iPhone and haven’t thought of doing it.

OP those 5G mmWave speeds are poor tbh.

This is what my carrier gives in India and it’s not even mmWave!

It’s 5G SA deployment and they (Jio) will start mmWave deployment early next year with speeds expected to go beyond 2 gbps.

I routinely get 800 Mbps to 1200 Mbps everywhere.

Contrary to your opinion, I am disgusted by iPhone 13 pro and 14 pro because you can’t get such awesome speeds on your laptop or pc by tethering due to 480 Mbps USB 2.0 protocol used by lightning connector.

The Wifi 6 is again limited to 1200 Mbps link speeds. Where you get 400-600 Mbps actual speeds.

Those are impressive speeds. Call me crazy, but I am far from disgusted, even if there is a 480 Mbps bottleneck via lightning or a 1200 Mbps limit via Wi-Fi 6.

Either speed is more than sufficient for virtually anything 99% of the human population is going to tether/hotspot for.

The speeds I had prior to the jump were sufficient. I think it’s common knowledge that the US’ cellular service is a joke.
