For the life of me I cannot get this to work. It should, and it almost does, but does not. :(

Imac - Connected to Ethernet - (USB ethernet) - Internet works fine.

Sharing Internet, through wifi. (Basically creating a wifi hotspot)

Once Started. The Ethernet in network shows green. Wifi, shows as sharing, is yellow. Has an ip address begining with 169, says self assigned.

It does create the wifi hotspot, and I can connect to it, however, nothing work. Does not seem to have internet access through said connection.

I have disabled firewall.
Reset Network settings.

its almost like my wifi is not being signed a correct IP address through DHCP. Im not sure how to set this up manually?

EDIT: One thing I noticed is that the IP address for the wireless card is set to an IP address starting with 169.x.x.x Which from research *pushes up nerd glasses* means something isn't right when the DHCP is assigning the IP. I believe I will have to manually set the IP, but, im just not sure how to determine what values would be punched in.

Thanks for any help!!!
