Hey any of you bird photographers, I’ve been wanting to post such a thread to let us all show off our work, and this seems the right place to do it!

I thought it might be nice to add just a little organization, lol, so I’ll post such a thread each week with a species or family or category, and we’ll see how it goes!

Let’s kick this off with your best pics of cardinals and related birds: tanagers, buntings and grosbeaks.

Here we go!

We do get cardinals at our feeders sparsely year-round, and frequently during the winter…but my mom gets them all day every day. Here’s one from her feeders:

We have a male and female Cardinal pair who come in to our backyard almost every day looking for food. I need to set up our dSLR on a tripod by the sliding glass door so it's ready to capture them when they come around. Such gorgeous birds!
