Those of you with a Studio Display and are using it with a Windows PC. How is your experience?

I'm looking to put together a PC and get an ASD because it's the only available option in terms of glossy screens that aren't ultrawide gaming monitors, which are horrible for illustrative uses. I know when the display first came out, it was rather difficult to acquire access to brightness settings or color profile management without access to a Mac as well in some way. Has this changed at all via software updates or anything? I've read through various posts online that people have claimed it's now possible, but haven't found any concrete info about it. Would love to know if it's viable to use the SD as my main monitor for windows.
