Rght now, the 48 gig IBM Travelstar is just under $500...and that's too tall even for the new PowerBooks (12 mm versus 9.5 mm)....so bigger HD capacity seems, at least for now, prohibitively expensive....

Will the powerbook offer a higher resolution screen?..something more then 1152x768 something more on the lines of 1600 x 1200 that the PC laptops are doing.

Mike man whats up with that resolution and the ti book?? It has very nice resolution. Just buy one and chill. YOull be a happy camper. Its selling like hotcakes here in UK.
