I've got an old iBook G4 I'm trying to restore back to it's Tiger beginnings. I just installed a new hard drive in it since the old one was clicking, and now I'm ready to reload the OS. I have the 4 CD Tiger version, and when I put it in and old down the Option key, I get the OSX Install Disc 1 option to boot from. When I click it, it starts up, and the gray screen with the Apple logo spins, then loads to the blue wallpapered desktop that would normally start the setup process. Instead though, I get to the blue screen, and the beachball starts spinning. I've let it sit for 2 hours to see no progress. What could be causing this? I know the disk isn't dirty because it has no scratches or dust on it.
