Having a Time Zone issue setting appointments in iOS 9.3.4 (well I have had it for awhile)

I moved from CST to PST

so I changed this setting

Settings > General > Date & Time >
Set Automatically = ON (Green)
Time Zone = Cupertino (PST)

but when setting appointments (via Siri & sometimes other things) in iOS calendar my old time zone (CST) still pops up. (see the picture)

appointment set for 1PM PST but pops on my Calendar at 3PM CST?

I want ONLY PST everywhere...

Time Zone Overide needed to be turned off

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > (scroll down, under CALENDARS) Time Zone Override > changed to OFF (not green)
