Tip: Pure CSS Drop-Caps

Here's something that I came up with that Internet Explorer ignores completely because it selects the first-child first. Since IE doesn't know what a first-child is, it doesn't do anything.

First child, first letter drop-caps:
I call them "Sexy Drop-Caps"

As someone pointed out to me on another forum, this is assuming that you are using a valid DocType
