I just bought a new MacBook and an Airport Extreme last night and have had two problems when setting up my wireless network at home. 1) I've set the Airport up in my back office near my iMac and it works fine, but my MacBook has touble picking up the signal inside the house. While this could be a distance issue, I'm wondering if the wireless phone jack I have hooked up to my Tivo could be causing interference? 2) My 5.8Ghz cordless phone doesn't work near the Airport. According to the manual that came with the phone, it shouldn't interfere with 802.11g wireless networks. But does the Airport interfere with the phone?

Thanks!

It could also be bluetooth, microwaves or other wireless networks, try changing the channel and see if that helps ;).
