Transfer files from PC to MacBook

I was just wondering what is a good way to transfer files from my PC to my Mac?

Please use a more discriptive title, and search for your answers.

The easiest method is ethernet, as you will see your Windows machine's hard drive in its entirety if you login to the $C share.

or a USB storage device formatted FAT32. Much quicker than ethernet
