Hi all,

Can anyone out there advise if there is a way I can transfer my app data to a different user ID/account?

I do not wish to transfer the actual app purchase, only the associated data such as game progress, settings, history, etc.

I would like to run a new iOS device under a different user ID (work) but continue to use some of the apps I currently have installed on my existing devices. I understand that I will need to purchase the necessary apps again, which I am prepared to do, but I'd really like to have the app appear on my new device as it was on my old one.

Many thanks in advance!

iExplorer is what I use.

Here's some example of what file you'd copy to another device:

Angry Birds
/com.clickgamer.AngryBirds/Documents/highscores.lua

Infinity Blade
/com.chairentertainment.birthright/Documents/SwordSave.bin

Where's My Water?
/com.disney.SwampyGame/Library/water.db

It is possible to copy many (if not most) individual app settings and saved games to other devices, without having to restore from a backup.
