Transferring email from Old Dell to Mac

I have an old dell computer from probably the mid 90s I want to get rid, but before doing so I am hoping to retrieve some email on there.

I was able to export the mail boxes as .dbx files. Is there an easy way to get these imported into one of my macs?

I hate to lose these files as they contain correspondence from family members who are no longer here..
