I have a MacBook Pro and I'm running Monterey.
I still like to use music stored on my computer, but I use Spotify a lot too.
Spotify DOES allow the play, back, forward, stop buttons (F7 - F9) but Apple Music does not.
I think this is a bit weird, and I'm wondering if there is something in settings or prefs which will allow the controls to operate Music.
Currently, I have to use my mouse to click the play button in the Music app on the MacBook.
